As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will collaborate closely with sales to promote our product offerings to partners, resellers, and end-users. This role involves substantial travel within your region (50–75%).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct live and virtual customer meetings, presentations, and demonstrations.
- Implement and manage proof of concepts (POCs) to technical closure.
- Support lead generation activities such as events, webinars, and user groups.
- Collaborate with customers and partners to establish technical requirements from business objectives.
- Provide technical expertise in data protection.
- Work with the sales team to secure new partners and customers.
- Provide customer feedback to Product Management.
- Offer pre-sales support to customers evaluating Veeam software.
- Train and mentor junior staff and provide guidance in resolving complex issues.
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in solution sales and/or technical pre-sales.
- Industry experience with data protection technologies and strong knowledge of storage, networking, and cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and data lifecycle management within IT audit frameworks.
- Expertise in virtualization technologies.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and the ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities.
- Excellent time management skills.
Knowledge:
- Experience in deploying software solutions into complex environments.
- Deep understanding of Veeam and/or similar technologies.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written skills; ability to present effectively to groups in English and Arabic.
Additional Info:
Industry-relevant professional certifications are desirable.
