As a Cloud Application Architect at Virtusa, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge Digital Transformation programs in the Middle East, engaging with top-tier Banking and Financial Services, Travel, Telecom, and Enterprise firms. Your role will involve setting up secure cloud foundations and landing zones in AWS tailored for Generative AI and Machine Learning projects. You will facilitate network connectivity between on-premises environments and AWS, including the establishment of secure connectivity with Azure to support data migration.
You will be responsible for conducting workshops with customers to fully understand their requirements and provide guidance on landing zone, account, and organizational unit structures. Additionally, your expertise in Azure will be leveraged to design and build hybrid and multi-cloud architectures since many clients have existing Azure workloads. You will also design and implement essential DevOps tools, ML Ops, AI Ops, and DataOps solutions on AWS.
In your collaborative role, you will coordinate with Generative AI and ML teams to securely design and deploy necessary AWS services such as Amazon Kendra, Amazon SageMaker, and many others. Your experience and skills will guide the successful navigation of complex cloud transformations for our clients.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Set up Secure Cloud Foundation and landing zones in AWS for Generative AI and ML projects.
- Establish network connectivity between on-prem and AWS using Direct Connect or VPN.
- Ensure secure network connectivity with Azure for data migration to AWS.
- Conduct workshops with customers to identify requirements and advise on landing zone, account, and organizational unit structure.
- Architect and design hybrid cloud solutions leveraging Azure knowledge.
- Design and implement DevOps, ML Ops, AI Ops, and DataOps tools in AWS.
- Coordinate with Generative AI and ML teams for secure deployment of AWS services.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of IT experience, including 8+ years in AWS and Azure.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing landing zones and secure cloud foundations in AWS per well-architected frameworks.
- Preferred AWS Solution Architect Professional certification.
- Expertise in AWS Control Tower and landing zone implementation.
- Familiarity with Generative AI and Machine Learning tools in AWS.
- Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Knowledge of AWS services listed in responsibilities.
