Java Solution Architect

The Java Solution Architect will be responsible for driving and leading digital transformation initiatives for large-scale financial institutions and enterprises, ensuring seamless and efficient technology adoption. Key responsibilities include:

• Digital Transformation Leadership: Lead initiatives ensuring high efficiency in technology adoption.
• Architecture & Strategy: Design and implement enterprise-level software architecture solutions for banking and payment systems.
• Cloud & Platform Migration: Manage on-premise and cloud-based migrations (AWS, Azure, GCP) to guarantee scalability and security.
• Cloud-Native Architectures: Implement architectures using Docker and Kubernetes for optimal performance.
• Feasibility Analysis & Project Lifecycle: Guide projects through feasibility studies, design, documentation, implementation, user training, and post-launch enhancements.
• Solution Design & Validation: Collaborate with teams to design scalable solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Leadership & People Management: Manage cross-functional teams, ensuring effective vendor management and stakeholder communication.
• DevOps Implementation: Enhance productivity through the automation of the software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshooting & Performance Optimization: Provide technical expertise in debugging and application monitoring.
• Integration Expertise: Lead complex integrations, adhering to CBUAE guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, digital transformation, and enterprise software development, focusing on banking and financial services.
• Proven experience in cloud architecture, application containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and platform migrations.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.

Desirable Skills:

• Certifications in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other project management frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of security and compliance standards within the financial and payments sector.
