We are looking for a proactive Project Coordinator to manage contractors and support various office projects, including setup, maintenance, renovations, and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contractor coordination, negotiation skills, and basic project management knowledge. This crucial role ensures all contractor-related tasks are executed efficiently, within budget, and to high standards while supporting ongoing office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contractor Management: Act as the primary contact for contractors involved in office-related projects, coordinating schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Negotiation & Cost Control: Negotiate contracts and pricing with contractors to secure cost-effective solutions while evaluating contractor performance.
- Project Coordination: Develop timelines, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Communication & Reporting: Regularly update management on project status and contractor performance, maintaining clear communication among stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience in office management, facilities management, or construction projects is advantageous.
- Fluent in both English and Arabic (written and spoken).
- Valid driver's license required.
- Proven experience working with contractors in construction or maintenance environments.
- Basic project management skills, with the ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of local building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements is preferred.
