Product Owner

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Owner with a strong background in cybersecurity to lead the development and delivery of innovative security products and features. You will act as the bridge between cross-functional teams—engineering, design, compliance, and stakeholders—ensuring our security products align with business goals, compliance requirements, and user needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and prioritize product features and requirements for cybersecurity products and solutions.
• Collaborate closely with cybersecurity engineers, developers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into clear technical requirements.
• Own and manage the product backlog; ensure timely and high-quality product releases.
• Lead Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives).
• Stay abreast of emerging security threats, industry trends, and regulatory changes (e.g., GDPR, NIST, ISO 27001).
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis in the cybersecurity space to guide product direction.
• Act as the product evangelist and primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure security and privacy best practices are integrated throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
• Proven experience working in cybersecurity-focused projects or companies.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, threat modeling, and secure development practices.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., OWASP, NIST, CIS).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Product certification (e.g., CSPO, SAFe PO/PM) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in cloud security, identity & access management (IAM), or threat detection.
• Hands-on experience with security tools or platforms.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps and secure CI/CD pipelines.
