We are seeking a Chief Solution Architect to join our Digital Solutions team. This role is essential to driving the design, development, and execution of innovative technology solutions that support our business objectives. As the Chief Solution Architect, you will lead the architecture strategy across complex digital initiatives and ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with our overall technology vision.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Solution Design and Architecture: Oversee the design of end-to-end technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and digital strategy.
- Strategic Technology Planning: Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to align technology initiatives with long-term organizational goals.
- Technical Leadership: Provide leadership in the selection of technologies, tools, and methodologies that will ensure the delivery of secure, scalable, and efficient digital solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, development teams, and other architects to ensure integration across platforms and that solutions are aligned with operational and business needs.
- Governance and Standards: Establish architectural guidelines, standards, and best practices for solution development, ensuring adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Innovation and R&D: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, evaluating their applicability and potential value for the organization.
- Risk Management: Identify potential technical risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Mentoring and Team Development: Lead, mentor, and coach solution architects and other technical team members to build their expertise and ensure high-quality output.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives, to drive decision-making and gain alignment.
Education and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 15+ years in solution architecture, software development, or enterprise architecture, with 5+ years in a leadership role. Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices architecture, and modern application development technologies.
