As a Data Scientist, you will apply data science methods and analytics to real-world business scenarios across various industries, making a significant impact. You will collaborate with clients on essential topics, such as climate change, to design and implement innovative solutions. Additional responsibilities include developing thought leadership within scientific communities and representing BCG X at conferences.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full analytics value chain from business challenge framing to solution implementation.
- Develop and deliver thought leadership in scientific communities.
- Lead conferences on behalf of BCG X.
- Be client-facing with the ambition to lead teams.
- Simplify complex results through clear visualizations.
- Build and collaboratively code using modern development tools.
Qualifications:
- Experience applying advanced analytics to diverse business scenarios.
- Strong understanding of modern machine learning techniques and their business implications.
- Proficient in programming languages, particularly Python.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Comfortable with client interaction and capable of distilling complex data into understandable formats.
