About the Job:
We are looking for an experienced Simulator Electrical / Hardware Technician to join our team focused on advanced Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) simulators. In this role, you will be part of a team of three technicians responsible for the maintenance and repair of a fleet of three UAV simulators, which includes two Generic Mission Training devices and one desktop system. This position offers a technically varied environment, providing opportunities to enhance your technical knowledge through exposure to modern simulators, systems, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and solve issues in complex flight simulation systems.
  • Collaborate with test engineers/pilots to check updates and bug fixes at the subsystem level.
  • Support integration of data, updates, software, and hardware.
  • Perform calibration of instruments and functional testing of systems.
  • Conduct detailed fault analysis and repair of faulty components.
  • Execute preventive maintenance tasks and assist in diagnosing simulator issues.
  • Utilize maintenance management systems to track maintenance activities.
  • Carry out pre-flight and post-flight checks, visual calibrations, and run Qualification Test Guides (QTG).
  • Assist with hardware modifications and perform logistics duties regarding parts received.

About You:
The ideal candidate will hold relevant technical qualifications and have experience in an electronic, avionic, or technical field as a technician. Key skills include:

  • Strong experience in electrical and hardware engineering.
  • Familiarity with software applications (coding skills not required).
  • Computer literate (experience with PC and/or mainframe architecture).
  • Experience with soldering and circuit board repairs is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
  • A practical, analytical mindset with excellent troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Language Requirements:
Fluency in English is required.

Employment Type and Location:
Full-time position located in Riyadh Region, Al Majma’ah Airbase.
Working Hours:
Sunday to Thursday, 0700-1500.
