We are seeking a Salesforce Engineer dedicated to high engineering quality and process efficiency. This role presents an exciting opportunity to engage with popular business systems and deliver an exceptional experience to Canonical's business operations. The Business Systems unit oversees several areas through collaboration across five engineering teams. The Salesforce Engineer will focus on systems like NetSuite and Salesforce, working closely with operations teams to implement business processes while ensuring compliance.
Work Conditions: Full-time, Remote work
Location: Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia (Remote)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop engineering solutions using NetSuite, Salesforce, and other business systems
- Collaborate on business specifications, technical designs, and code reviews
- Learn and understand Canonical's business processes
- Coach and mentor colleagues based on individual seniority
- Advocate for effective engineering and organizational practices
Requirements:
- Exceptional academic track record (high school and university)
- Undergraduate degree in a technical field or a compelling alternative path
- Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, or other CRM/ERP systems
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English with strong presentation skills
- Result-oriented with a personal drive to meet commitments
- Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events (up to two weeks long)
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Performance engineering and security experience
- Background in accounting, sales, sales operations, or other business roles
