About the Job
A Senior Solution Architect designs and integrates complex systems to solve specific business or technical problems using advanced technologies. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements, creating detailed architectural plans, and ensuring that solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals. The Senior Solution Architect will also provide guidance on best practices for deploying and managing AI and HPC solutions, ensuring that the architecture supports both current and future needs.
Core42 is the UAE’s national-scale enabler for cloud and generative AI, combining G42 Group’s expertise across multiple technology disciplines into a single platform for public sector and large enterprise transformations. We leverage our capabilities as a sovereign cloud and HPC specialist to deliver generative AI, cybersecurity, and professional services for national-scale program deployments across various industries.
Responsibilities
- Align architectural solutions with business objectives, ensuring they address specific problems and add value to the organization.
- Develop robust and scalable system architectures that efficiently handle large-scale AI and HPC workloads.
- Optimize systems for performance, leveraging advanced computing resources and algorithms to meet high-speed processing requirements.
- Integrate diverse technologies and platforms to create cohesive solutions aligned with company goals and technical requirements.
- Design systems with high availability, reliability, and security to protect sensitive data and maintain operational integrity.
- Work closely with stakeholders, including engineers, data scientists, and business leaders, to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet their needs.
- Oversee the implementation of architectural solutions, providing guidance and support to development teams.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and HPC technologies to recommend and incorporate cutting-edge solutions.
- Identify potential risks in system design and operation and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure that solutions comply with industry standards, regulations, and best practices for data management and computational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and document detailed system architectures that meet the specific needs of AI and HPC applications.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to development teams, ensuring solutions are implemented according to architectural plans.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Design systems and workflows to maximize computational efficiency and performance.
- Oversee the integration of various technologies and components to create a cohesive and functional system.
- Develop and evaluate prototypes or proof of concepts to validate architectural approaches.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of relevant experience, including roles in software engineering, systems architecture, or specialization in HPC solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and services.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Strong understanding of AI and HPC technologies, including hardware (like GPUs, CPUs, and networking) and software (like machine learning frameworks and data management solutions).
- Knowledge of current trends in AI and HPC, including emerging technologies and industry applications.
- The ability to plan, execute, and manage complex projects, including scope, timelines, and resource management.
