Core42 is seeking a dynamic, agile, and highly innovative Senior IT System Administrator with a proven track record to take charge of the 24/7 support and maintenance of Core42’s Cloud infrastructure and oversee Event & Incident management processes. In this role, you will plan, implement, and maintain our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, security, and optimal performance of our systems and networks while enhancing our reputation as an industry leader.

Responsibilities

System Administration: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networks, and related hardware and software infrastructure across the Core42 ecosystem. Manage and optimize the performance of all IT systems to meet larger business objectives, helping to upgrade, monitor, and maintain the network infrastructure.

Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard the organization's IT infrastructure and data while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Troubleshooting and Support: Provide advanced technical support to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless IT operations. Prepare and execute systems maintenance plans to proactively manage reliability and service expectations, collaborating with the helpdesk and support teams to address escalated technical challenges.

Infrastructure Planning: Participate proactively in the strategic planning and development of the IT infrastructure. Evaluate and recommend technologies and solutions to enhance efficiency and performance.

Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage backup and recovery processes to safeguard critical data. Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures.

Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand IT requirements and deliver effective solutions. Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a System Administrator, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role.
- Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent.
- Network security and CompTIA Security+ certifications.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows server environments.
- Experience with Azure and M365 technologies, including Active Directory and security-related tools.
- Proficiency in networking protocols, security principles, and infrastructure management.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasks.
