Position Key Responsibilities
As an Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading a team of talented engineers in the design, development, and delivery of cutting-edge software solutions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer satisfaction and committed to delivering high-quality products. Key responsibilities include:
- Leadership & Management: Mentor and grow a team of engineers while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Product Management: Understand customer needs and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of product changes, ensuring timely completion within scope.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to the team, ensuring best practices in software development and operational excellence.
- Collaboration: Work closely with different teams, including product management, design, and operations, to align on goals and deliverables.
- Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support the professional development of team members.
- Recruitment: Participate in the hiring process to attract and retain top engineering talent.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., C# and .NET or Flutter) and experience with cloud technologies (e.g., Azure or Google Cloud).
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of delivering complex projects.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a high-growth tech company or startup environment.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with data-driven decision-making and machine learning.
