We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Security Manager to lead our network security efforts in the financial and banking sector. The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of network security solutions, architecture, and best practices specifically tailored to the complexities and regulatory requirements of the financial industry. This role involves overseeing the design, implementation, and management of robust security measures to protect our network infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities.
Key Accountabilities:
- Network Security Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive network security strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements specific to the financial and banking sectors.
- Architecture Design: Design and architect secure network infrastructures that safeguard sensitive financial data and transactions. Ensure that security measures are integrated into all network components and systems.
- Threat Detection and Response: Monitor network traffic and security events to detect and respond to potential threats. Utilize advanced security tools and technologies to identify, analyze, and mitigate risks.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS) and internal security policies. Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments to identify and address security gaps.
- Incident Management: Lead and coordinate the response to network security incidents, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery. Develop and execute incident response plans and conduct post-incident reviews.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of network security professionals. Foster a collaborative and proactive security culture within the team and across the organization.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT, operations, and other departments to ensure that security requirements are integrated into all aspects of network design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with security vendors and service providers. Assess and select security solutions that meet organizational needs and industry standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies. Continuously enhance security measures and practices to address evolving risks.
- Network Asset Management: Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory, incident management, and all architecture design and SOP documentation.
- Automation and Budget Management: Develop and implement automation in network and security systems. Manage and control the budget for network & security areas.
Requirements:
- +10 years of experience, with a minimum of 4 years as a lead
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or engineering
- Experience in network operations, security, projects, design, and architecture
- CCIE security or routing and switching certification
- Experience with firewalls (Fortinet & Palo Alto) and F5
- Fin-tech background preferred
- Experience in telecom provider connectivity and technologies
