Help AG, an e& enterprise company, is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Senior Cybersecurity Defense Analyst to join our Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC) team as part of our Managed Security Services (MSS) business unit. This role involves monitoring multiple client environments, guiding and leading other Security Analysts, and conducting forensic analysis and threat hunting to detect and identify Cybersecurity incidents or breaches. The ideal candidate will stay updated on Cybersecurity intelligence and the threat landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor multiple security technologies, such as IDS/IPS, Firewalls, switches, and other security threat data sources.
- Correlate and analyze events using SIEM tools to detect security incidents.
- Create, present, and maintain detailed operational processes and procedures.
- Respond to inbound requests for technical assistance and support.
- Document actions in cases to communicate information effectively.
- Maintain awareness of current threat landscape and cybersecurity intelligence.
- Engage in threat hunting activities and lead knowledge-sharing initiatives among analysts.
- Perform other essential duties as assigned, including analysis of log files and the creation of customer reports.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including areas like security operations and threat intelligence.
- Strong knowledge of IT security best practices and common attack types.
- Experience in using tools like Splunk for Threat and Incident Detection.
- Solid understanding of Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CCIE, CISSP, OSCP) are highly preferred.
- Very good communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
Language Requirements:
- Ability to speak and write in English is required.
- Ability to speak and write in both English and Arabic is preferred.
