About the Job:
HSBC Saudi Arabia provides investment banking services to a diverse range of corporate and institutional clients, including public companies, private companies, government agencies, family businesses, and offices. The role of Head of IT Infrastructure Delivery involves leading and managing the IT Infrastructure Delivery team, overseeing the overall Technology Operations strategy of HSBC Saudi Arabia, and ensuring effective support for data processing services along with computing platforms and storage.
The incumbent will be responsible for managing the service level agreements (SLA) with SAB STS for Data Centre operations and ensuring that network and telecommunication services meet business requirements for availability, cost-effectiveness, and quality, complying with Group standards and audit recommendations. Additionally, you will oversee the efficient operations of Disaster Recovery and Backup Data Center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the running and availability of all IT systems within the Bank.
- Provide the necessary infrastructure to support the development and implementation of new systems.
- Maintain 24/7 availability of network and telecommunication services, ensuring operational continuity.
- Manage a Help Desk to provide support to internal customers and respond to queries promptly.
- Interact with Business/Functional Heads to translate IT-specific requirements and create action plans for projects.
- Lead and motivate the IT team, fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture.
- Regularly liaise with external vendors and manage contract negotiations.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent (required)
- Master’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent (preferred)
- 8-14 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a similar role
- Prior experience in the banking sector within the region, with a focus on Information Technology development is preferred.
