We are seeking a highly skilled and technologically proficient Computational Architectural Designer to join our dynamic team at our UAE office. This role focuses on developing generative floor plan engines and automating compliance processes for the MENA region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Software Proficiency: AutoCAD: Draw, edit, and print architectural plans with precision. Rhino3D: Utilize Rhino for detailed design projects requiring precision and complex 3D modeling. Grasshopper: Build algorithms for generative designs, essential for developing a generative floor plan engine. Revit: Create detailed, layered, and data-rich architectural models.
- Programming Skills: Python and C#: Develop plugins and enhance the functionality of AutoCAD’s API. Plugin Development: Create custom plugins to automate tasks within AutoCAD and other design software.
- Creative and Technical Integration: Blend creative design with technical compliance, focusing on MENA region regulations and standards. Innovate and optimize generative floor plan engines and compliance automation processes.
Qualification & Experience:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Computational Design, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years in architectural design with a strong focus on computational design methods.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Rhino3D, Grasshopper, and Revit. Proficient with Python and C# for developing plugins and automation tools.
- Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing projects that highlight expertise in generative design, 3D modeling, and compliance automation.
- Additional Skills: Attention to Detail: Maintain precision in design and adherence to compliance standards. Problem-Solving: Develop innovative solutions for complex design challenges. Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
