About the Job:

This role is within Mastercard Services, which focuses on acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. The professional services arm of Mastercard provides payments-focused consulting, marketing, information and risk management services, security solutions, open banking, and more to financial institutions and merchants globally.

Role Responsibilities:
As a Cybersecurity Principal, you will lead and manage large, complex cybersecurity engagements for major Mastercard accounts across West Arabia and Eastern Europe. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering large consulting projects leveraging Mastercard Cyber solutions, including program/project management and client relationships.
  • Developing strategies and programs for large, strategically important regional and global clients.
  • Implementing Mastercard cyber technologies and maintaining an ongoing relationship with client executives.
  • Partnering with internal key stakeholders to suggest new offerings and increase sales opportunities.
  • Positioning Mastercard as a thought leader in the Cyber industry.

Knowledge and Skillset Required:

  • Extensive knowledge in cyber risk management and regulatory compliance, familiar with regulations such as DORA, NIS2, GDPR, and industry frameworks like ISO 27001 and NIST CSF.
  • Proven experience managing large projects involving information security and technology risk management.
  • Skills in designing cyber risk governance frameworks, developing cyber risk management strategies, and preparing comprehensive project deliverables.

Education and Certifications Required:

  • Relevant certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CISA, or equivalent are preferred.

All employees must abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices, ensure the confidentiality and integrity of accessed information, report suspected security violations, and complete all periodic mandatory security training.

Language Requirements:
Proficiency in English is preferred; additional language skills relevant to West Arabia and Eastern Europe will be advantageous.
