The Customer Solutions Center is a new structure that enables Mastercard to develop superior solutions for key customers in local markets. This center houses all Mastercard capabilities within a geography, aiming to drive growth and revenue by creating and selling compelling data-driven, needs-based solutions. The Director, Solutions Architect will partner with account managers to curate and aggregate solutions across products for different segments. This role is critical in ensuring relevancy and differentiation across all segments, leading to improved relationships, market share, and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a capabilities expert for the assigned segment by understanding the value chain and identifying trends, needs, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with frontline teams to identify customer needs and recommend needs-based solutions in coordination with Products, Services, and Marketing.
  • Lead the development and sale of complex value propositions, working closely with the Customer Solutions Center Lead to assemble the right expertise for client opportunities.
  • Develop integrated, customized solutions by combining multiple Mastercard products and services.
  • Proactively create solutions for known market needs, leveraging Mastercard's toolbox to address customer pain points.
  • Share best practices and insights with the Solution Architect community to enhance product and segment strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding and discipline in project management and problem-solving.
  • Strong knowledge of Mastercard products and services.
  • Ability to comprehend business, market context, and customer needs.
  • Highly collaborative with strong communication skills and the ability to rally support from internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to drive meaningful insights.

  • Revenues for supported segments
  • Deal win ratio for supported opportunities
  • Product penetration ratio for assigned segments
  • Voice of customer survey results from assigned segments
  • Contribution to the Solution Architect community and support for other Customer Solution Centers as needed.
