About the Role: We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team, focusing on the development of next-generation technologies in fraud detection and prevention. The ideal candidate will bring innovative concepts from diverse domains, including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system architecture, security, and artificial intelligence.
Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, and deploy software components. - Write clean and maintainable code, participating in peer code reviews to ensure code quality. - Develop unit tests for a continuous integration environment. - Follow and contribute to best practices for coding and development processes. - Document software design and technical specifications. - Collaborate effectively with team members, requiring limited supervision while meeting deadlines and goals. - Work closely with the Scrum Master and Product Management.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (MSc is a plus). - 2+ years of experience in a similar role; professional certifications are a plus. - Previous experience in fraud prevention or fintech is advantageous. - Excellent bilingual verbal and written communication skills. - Proficiency in Go programming language. - Hands-on experience with concurrency. - Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience with software revision control tools like Git. - Ability to explain complex system issues. - Capability to learn new coding languages as needed. - Understanding of distributed computing principles. - Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, such as MySQL, Postgres, and Redis.
