About the Job
As an Oracle Account Cloud Engineer, you will empower organizations on their digital transformation journey, making a direct impact on their business success. You will work closely with key decision-makers to guide customers through their cloud adoption journey, ensuring that Oracle's solutions align with their needs by providing strategic guidance at every step. Your responsibilities will include orchestrating cross-functional teams to deliver consistent, effective cloud solutions that meet customer goals.
Responsibilities
- Drive customer success by acting as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose suitable Oracle cloud solutions.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions to gather detailed business and technical requirements.
- Architect comprehensive cloud solutions that meet customer needs and align with industry best practices.
- Present and demonstrate Oracle cloud solutions to customers, showcasing the value and benefits of our offerings.
- Create and deliver technical proposals, presentations, and solution documentation.
- Stay updated on the latest cloud technologies by working closely with Oracle product management and engineering teams.
- Provide technical guidance during the sales cycle, including proofs of concept (POCs) and pilot projects.
- Analyze industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to deliver strategic insights to the sales team and customers.
- Design and deliver enterprise cloud architecture that articulates business value through vision, capability models, assessments, and technical architecture.
- Lead cross-functional Oracle teams to help customers design, implement, and govern enterprise cloud architecture and solutions on time.
Key Qualifications & Competencies
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in technology and industry, with experience working with public cloud platforms.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a customer-facing role such as Pre-Sales Solution Architect, focusing on enterprise cloud solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about business and technical challenges.
- Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Relevant hyperscaler cloud certifications.
- Experience or strong familiarity with cloud implementation and adoption cycles.
- Experience with open source, cloud native, and Oracle technologies.
- Degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
