About the Job
As an Oracle Account Cloud Engineer, you will be pivotal in helping enterprises transform through advanced cloud technology. Your role will involve guiding key decision-makers through the cloud adoption journey, collaborating with Oracle's various cloud teams to align solutions with customer needs, and providing strategic support at every step. You will orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver integrated cloud solutions that meet and exceed customer goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to drive customer success, fostering strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with the sales team to comprehend customer requirements and recommend appropriate Oracle cloud solutions.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions to collect detailed business and technical requirements.
- Architect comprehensive cloud solutions that satisfy customer needs and adhere to industry best practices.
- Present and demonstrate Oracle cloud solutions to customers, highlighting the value and benefits of our offerings.
- Develop and deliver technical proposals, presentations, and solution documentation.
- Stay informed about the latest cloud technologies by liaising with Oracle product management and engineering teams.
- Provide technical guidance throughout the sales cycle, including proofs of concept (POCs) and pilot projects.
- Analyze industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to provide strategic insights to the sales team and customers.
- Design and deliver enterprise cloud architecture that communicates business value through vision, capability models, assessments, and technical architecture.
- Lead cross-functional Oracle teams to assist customers in designing, implementing, and governing enterprise cloud architecture and solutions timely.
Key Qualifications & Competencies

Must-Have Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in technology and industry, including substantial experience with public cloud platforms.
- Proven background as a Cloud Architect or in a customer-facing role such as Pre-Sales Solution Architect, with a focus on enterprise cloud solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset for addressing business and technical challenges.
- In-depth understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of elucidating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Relevant hyperscaler cloud certifications.
- Familiarity with cloud implementation and adoption cycles.
- Experience with Open Source, cloud-native, and Oracle technologies.
- Degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
