About the Job
The Enterprise Architect is the most senior customer-facing architecture role within the organization and is critical to maintaining the relationship between customers and the company. This role acts as a bridge, connecting the needs of customers to the solutions and services offered, thereby delivering value. The Enterprise Architect provides leadership across various lines of business to ensure that offerings are feasible, consistent, and effective, in alignment with customer needs. The primary responsibility is to inspire business transformation by aligning an organization's strategic objectives with its operating model, processes, and capabilities, breaking down opportunities for transformation into phased, value-based recommendations.
What You Will Do
- Drive and deliver value to customers, focusing on business-driven enterprise architectures that support enterprise-wide application solutions.
- Support account teams in large-scale opportunities.
- Conduct "Inspire" activities within accounts to generate customer interest.
- Collaborate with local account teams and a broad range of other business lines.
- Utilize creativity, independent judgment, and business acumen to design complex business solutions that meet customer needs using company products and technology.
- Interact with customer roles including CIOs, CTOs, IT architects, technical staff, and business representatives.
- Provide recommendations on process, capability, and technology changes to realize client strategy.
- Participate in the development of actionable roadmaps for adopting new business applications and technology solutions.
- Conduct workshops for strategy, architecture, roadmap, and planning.
- Assess current state architecture and recommend future state architecture including the creation of Enterprise Blueprints.
- Identify and outline key business and technology benefits of adopting solutions.
- Play an active role as part of the architecture community, remaining aware of all relevant developments and references within the industry.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a strategic and outcome-based mindset with a focus on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
- Provide expertise in the Public Sector, with knowledge in Government ERP and enterprise architectures.
- Possess broad cross-functional IT knowledge and deep understanding of customer business lifecycles.
- Exhibit strong facilitation, consensus building, change management, problem-solving, and storytelling skills.
- Design architectures tailored for specific industries such as Healthcare and Government.
Qualifications
- University Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Extensive experience as a Lead Enterprise Architect, CTO, or Head of Architecture (10+ years).
- Proven technical expertise in SaaS (ERP, HCM, CX), PaaS, IaaS, and Digital Transformation.
- Holistic understanding of cloud solutions and their practical applications.
- Ability to craft and articulate strategic solutions, and knowledge of implementation methodologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, IAF) is a plus.
