Network Engineer

Presight is seeking a highly skilled and solution-oriented Network Engineer to develop and enhance network platform capabilities. This role will support and improve business processes by creating new solutions or modifying existing ones. As a leading big data analytics company in the region, Presight combines AI, big data, and analytics to drive impactful societal changes across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement strategies for optimal network performance, reliability, and security.
• Develop and deploy new network solutions and enhance the resilience of existing networks.
• Build network infrastructure by designing system configurations and overseeing installations.
• Install, configure, and maintain network equipment (routers, switches, proxy servers, DNS, DHCP, WAN accelerators).
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, diagnosing and resolving issues.
• Collaborate with network architects to optimize network efficiency.
• Analyze firewall logs and administer firewall environments in compliance with IT security policies.
• Perform disaster recovery operations and ensure compliance with quality and security standards.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in network administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Certifications from Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, or Fortinet NSE are advantageous.
• Willingness to travel internationally at least 50% of the time as required by business needs.

Skills and Attributes:

• Expertise in network protocols and infrastructure (Routing & Switching, LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, Network Security).
• Strong understanding of NOC operations and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Familiarity with cloud networking and infrastructure (Azure/AWS) is a plus.
