We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Tableau Solution Engineer to join Salesforce's Tableau/Analytics Solution Engineering team in the Middle East. Our team consists of data and analytics professionals dedicated to helping customers solve their business challenges using Tableau's world-leading analytics platform. As a senior Solution Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting both our customers and sales teams by providing technical expertise in data, business intelligence, predictive analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI).
Responsibilities:
- Engage customers and collaborate with account teams to understand how data and analytics can help their businesses succeed and transform.
- Demonstrate how Tableau's platform and Salesforce Analytics solutions drive value through guided evaluations and tailored demonstrations.
- Conduct workshops to educate customers on the Tableau platform and promote adoption across various stakeholders.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them on best practices and informing their data and analytics strategies.
- Maintain an expert level of knowledge regarding all aspects of the Tableau platform, including data integration, visualization, governance, architecture, and security.
- Lead technical responses to RFPs and RFIs.
- Collaborate with product management teams to stay updated on developments and provide field feedback.
- Create reusable assets to enhance efficiency for extended teams.
Required Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of hands-on experience in business intelligence, data integration, analytics, or related technologies.
- Solid problem-solving skills in data and analytics.
- Strong background in at least one BI platform (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and customers.
- Degree or equivalent proven experience required, with evaluation based on core proficiencies.
- Fluency in English; fluency in Arabic is highly appreciated.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with predictive analytics and AI, particularly machine learning.
- Knowledge of data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) and ML platforms (e.g., Azure ML, Amazon SageMaker).
- Basic knowledge of web technologies such as JavaScript and application integration.
