About the Job
We are seeking an experienced pre-sales professional to join our team in the Middle East, specifically in our new office in Dubai. In this role, you will become a solution expert on the world’s leading data visualization and analytics platform, Tableau. You will work closely with prospective and existing customers, as well as various internal business functions, to serve as a Trusted Advisor. Your responsibilities will include helping customers evaluate Tableau and CRM Analytics from a technical perspective, driving adoption in partnership with our internal sales teams, and presenting at top data and analytics conferences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a Trusted Advisor to customers by understanding their business challenges and data/analytics strategies.
  • Identify appropriate solutions and support customers in achieving their business goals.
  • Enable customers to be more data-driven by demonstrating Tableau’s solutions, including CRM Analytics.
  • Provide technical and analytical consulting support.
  • Collaborate with internal sales teams to drive adoption of Tableau within accounts.
  • Build outstanding relationships with customers to ensure their success.
  • Assist in troubleshooting technical challenges and developing content for demos and training workshops.
  • Contribute to the future product roadmap by providing feedback based on customer requirements.

Who We Look For
We are seeking positive professionals with proven pre-sales expertise in the software or IT industry. The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Broad technical awareness with expertise in areas such as Data Visualization/Analytics, BI, data quality, integration, MDM, or databases.
  • Ability to establish trust with clients and influence during the sales cycle.
  • Hands-on experience building and delivering Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and responding to RFIs/RFPs.
  • Passion for technology and its impact on customers' businesses.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to diverse audiences. Proficiency in Arabic is preferred but not essential.
  • Demonstrated sales acumen, including objection handling and product positioning.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexibly as needed.

What You'll Achieve In Your First Year

  • Complete Tableau's world-class boot-camp program and obtain your Tableau Desktop Certified Associate, Certified Professional, and Tableau Server Certified Associate qualifications.
  • Support the full sales cycle from discovery through evaluation to closing on a designated set of accounts or territory.
  • Take ownership of a key initiative to support team development.
  • Attend and present best practices at world-class marketing events.
  • Collaborate with account executives on territory, account, and opportunity planning.
  • Contribute to product direction by relaying customer feedback to product management and engineering teams.
  • Engage continuously with customers to support their ongoing success and become an integral part of the Tableau community.
