You will be a key part of the Service & Operations Management (SOM) team, focusing on Conventional Oil and Gas (COG) and Non-Operated Ventures (NOV) Operating Units. This role is integral to providing secure and reliable IT operations across various operating units in multiple countries including the UAE, Iraq, Kuwait, Tunisia, Albania, and Italy.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Major Incident (MI) operations and ensure swift service restoration.
- Collaborate with the Senior IDT Site Operations Lead for operational readiness, analyzing business requirements, and providing sign-offs.
- Ensure business controls are adhered to for site service delivery.
- Identify enhancement and improvement opportunities within the landscapes and products.
- Ensure Compliance with Information Risk Management (IRM) and IT Controls, as well as Health and Safety policies.
- Drive budgeting of IDT services, monitor spending, and ensure adherence to budget plans.
- Support management of contracts, including their development, evaluation, and renewal.
- Handle monthly on-call duties for high availability sites during major incidents.
What We Need From You:
- Existing rights to work in the UAE.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent certification in IT.
- ITIL Certification (Foundation is mandatory; Intermediate is preferred).
- 7-10 years relevant IT Service Operations experience, particularly in IT infrastructure design or administration.
- Experience with interconnected Enterprise landscapes, Agile/Project Management, and Product Management/DevOps practices.
- Strong collaboration skills with business stakeholders, excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- A mindset focused on continuous improvement and the capability to manage various lines of business and cost recovery.
- Willingness to work out of hours, sometimes unplanned, and maintain regular onsite presence.
