Backend Engineer I - Builders Program

The Builders Program aims to elevate exceptional Saudi graduates into future leaders with a comprehensive, hands-on experience designed for rapid growth. Participants will work with an executive mentor to tackle company-wide initiatives, gain professional development, and handle live business challenges, ensuring they make an immediate impact. Successful completion of this program will lead to internal opportunities based on individual performance. Candidates should have a strong academic record, be proactive problem-solvers, and be willing to push boundaries.

As an early career Backend Engineer, you will be pivotal in building cutting-edge platforms that facilitate seamless and scalable transactions.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems across Tamara’s engineering teams.
• Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
• Collaborate with engineers to create features that enhance user experience.
• Work with business, product, and operations teams to address user pain points.

Experience Required:

• A maximum of 2 years of experience in backend engineering.

Skills:

• Proficient in Java or Golang.
• Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, or Hibernate.
• Understanding of SOLID principles and Design Patterns.
• Knowledge of AWS, OCI, Kubernetes/Docker.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and messaging tools like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
