Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Develop Enterprise Security Architecture capabilities.
- Ensure cybersecurity architecture design aligns with the organization's strategy.
- Develop and integrate cybersecurity designs for systems and networks with multilayered security requirements.
- Perform cybersecurity reviews and identify gaps in security architecture, developing risk management plans.
- Provide input to the risk management framework and related documentation.
- Advise on security requirements for the RFP process and project change management.
- Analyze candidate architectures and select appropriate security mechanisms.
- Define and prioritize essential system capabilities for restoration after catastrophic events.
- Ensure system and architecture consistency with cybersecurity guidelines.
- Translate proposed capabilities into technical requirements.
- Design systems for successful proofs-of-concept and pilot projects.
- Read and interpret technical diagrams and specifications related to systems and networks.
- Recommend cost-effective security controls to mitigate identified risks.
- Develop security requirements throughout the acquisition life cycle.
- Must have experience in cloud security, particularly with Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or private cloud.

- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Skills in consulting, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management.
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in problem-solving environments.
- Flexibility to travel as needed.
- Knowledge of network security architecture, principles, and security policies.
- Understanding of risk assessment, mitigation, and management methods.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity-related threats and vulnerabilities.
- Familiarity with cryptography and key management concepts.
- Understanding the cybersecurity considerations for operating and database systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, TOGAF Foundation, or SABSA SCF.
