Core42 is seeking a Senior Developer with expertise in Salesforce CPQ to become a pivotal member of our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and deploy customized Salesforce applications tailored for our internal business users. You will collaborate extensively with fellow developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure high-quality solutions are delivered on time.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Salesforce applications using CPQ, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and additional technologies.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems via APIs, web services, and middleware.
- Configure and customize CPQ functionalities including product catalogues, pricing, quoting, contracting, billing, and reporting.
- Implement best practices and standards for Salesforce development and CPQ configuration.
- Conduct unit testing, code reviews, and quality assurance for Salesforce applications.
- Troubleshoot and rectify issues and defects in Salesforce and CPQ applications.
- Provide technical support and documentation for Salesforce and CPQ applications.
- Stay abreast of the latest Salesforce and CPQ features and trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and maintain clean coding practices.
- Coordinate with internal resources and third parties for successful project execution.
- Deliver projects on time, within scope and budget, setting realistic timelines and goals.
- Foster strong collaboration skills to define alternative solutions, resolve conflicts, and establish partnerships with stakeholders.
- Proactively develop strategies to mitigate program/project risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and web services).
- 5+ years of experience implementing end-to-end solutions using Salesforce CPQ.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform, CPQ, and relevant technologies.
- Experience in integrating Salesforce with external systems.
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, and CPQ Specialist are preferred.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Shield for data security, and experience with Salesforce Communities and Experience Cloud is a plus.
