In Financial Accounting & Advisory Services (FAAS) within Assurance, we assist our clients in addressing the accounting and financial reporting challenges facing their businesses. The Opportunity
This role is within our Digital Team, offering advisory services with a focus on Data, AI, and intelligent automation. As a manager, you will oversee businesses' data-driven transformation efforts, guiding them in areas such as data strategy and governance, data architecture, data analytics, intelligent automation, data science, and IT transformation (including Oracle/ERP transformations). You will also provide strategic advice on topics like data protection, governance, migrations, and cloud journeys. Collaboration with various data leaders, including cybersecurity and data protection teams, as well as data analysts and scientists, will be crucial to ensure that use cases are robust and meet client expectations. You will take the lead in client identification and business development in this fast-moving sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage up to four projects in collaboration with senior business leaders and partners, helping clients develop a FAAS strategy that addresses risk and manages expectations for deliverables.
  • Act as a business operator by identifying opportunities, supporting RFPs, and ensuring financial margins for ongoing projects.
  • Ensure timely delivery of work in compliance with regulatory requirements, execute the FAAS service delivery framework effectively, and monitor team performance against budgets.
  • Identify and communicate trends and performance drivers relevant to the client, consult on complex accounting issues, and participate in new FAAS work sales.

Skills and Attributes for Success

  • Proactive, accountable, and results-driven individuals will thrive in this environment. Key skills include effective communication, resource management, and managing competing priorities.
  • A bachelor's degree with approximately 7+ years of related work experience is required, along with demonstrated experience in a global consulting firm managing a team of at least 10 individuals.
  • Experience acting as a strategic stakeholder for senior executives and driving business outcomes is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with big data and platforms such as Cloudera, Informatica, and Data bricks, as well as cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
  • Industry expertise in sectors such as Government, Healthcare, Financial Services, Retail, or Telecom is beneficial.
  • Ability to supervise teams throughout all project lifecycle phases, including requirements definition, business re-engineering, and application mapping.
  • Awareness of emerging technologies, such as Data Fabric, Data Mesh, AI-ML, LLM, and ChatGPT.

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

  • A track record with a leading consulting firm.
  • Proficiency in the Arabic language.
