Payments / Cards Architect - ME

About the job:

Solution Architect with domain expertise & experience in designing solutions involving various payments/core/cards systems of Financial institutions in the UAE region.

Responsibilities:

Domain Required much or Open to other domains: Personal Banking - Payments & Cards

Must have skills 1:

• A good understanding of security processes, standards & issues involved in multi-tier, multi-tenant web applications - e.g. SSO, OAuth, SAML, Field-Level Encryption, etc.
• Domain knowledge of the working of various payment systems, gateways, ATM, Acquiring & Issuing processes.
• Working knowledge in application development/integration preferably Java, Spring framework(Boot, MVC,JPA), Angular, React Native, React web, TIBCO, WebSphere etc
• At least 3 years in solution architecture covering 3 or more of web/mobile applications, SOA/ API/Microservices & integration, analytics, infrastructure, and deployment.
• At least 5 years in software development with at least 2 years in building Java backend applications.

Must have skills 2:

• Defining API Specification for REST or Web Services
• Knowledge of API & Interface governances, design standards, and principles

Must have skills 3:

• Knowledge in Cloud Deployments
• Knowledge of hardware sizing and able to define application architecture that High Available, scalable, etc.

Must have skills 4:

• Managing the life cycle of solutions, undertaking technology watch and developing proofs of concept for Payments & Cards systems. This is applicable to both on Premise & Cloud-based components (especially AWS)

Nice to have skills:

• AWS, Azure, Professional certification will be an added advantage
• Knowledge and Experience in Cloud, DevOps, Agile development methodology
• Must be aware of Security standards, Data confidentiality, PII information & best practices while defining the application architecture

Competency Required:

• Cards & payment processing systems, Acquiring & Issuing Processes, ATMs, ISO8583, SWIFT, PACS, UAE specific payments.
• Any Function Areas required Personal Banking Products, Onboarding processes, Core Banking functionalities, Cards/Payment processes

Team Handling Skills Required For The Individual To Handle:

• Good to have Agile / Waterfall / Devops / Others: Agile/Waterfall

Qualifications:
