About The Opportunity
As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at HungerStation, you will work closely with engineering and product teams to enhance product quality by applying best practices and fostering a quality mindset among engineers. You will actively contribute to QA OKRs planning and lead initiatives aimed at improving existing processes and minimizing bugs.
Your responsibilities will include monitoring, tracking, analyzing, and reporting on the QA team's KPIs within your domain. You will assess the product lifecycle and enhance each stage to optimize product quality, participate in and lead cross-functional end-to-end testing projects, and apply exploratory testing techniques. Additionally, you will define both manual and automated test cases throughout the development lifecycle, adhering to the principles of the ideal software testing pyramid.
What You Need to Be Successful
Must-Have Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, quality control, and quality assurance.
- Ability to work closely with multiple teams to drive quality activities and processes.
- Strong knowledge of agile testing methodologies and tools.
- Experience in testing mobile applications and backend services.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration, Continuous Build, and Continuous Deployment practices.
- Competence in defining manual and automated test cases throughout the development lifecycle.
- Capability to manage and develop effective QA processes at the domain level.
- Proficiency in monitoring, analyzing, tracking, and reporting on QA team KPIs.
- Experience in creating test plans and strategies.
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
- Fluency in Arabic.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with shift-left testing approaches.
- Experience in automation testing for both Mobile and API testing.
- Familiarity with quality control reporting and tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Knowledge of source code control and build tools (e.g., GitHub).
- ISTQB Foundation Level Certificate or higher.
