This position offers an opportunity to work on a large luxury mixed-use development in Saudi Arabia, where Mace is providing project management consultancy services.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Team throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assess the current resources on projects to ensure they meet goals.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct interviews to evaluate skills and experience for BIM roles.
  • Develop BIM execution plans (BEP) and the client's digital handover strategy.
  • Maintain an understanding of ISO19650 and applicable standards for clients.
  • Ensure security protocols are followed for viewing and issuing of information.
  • Implement governance and assurance processes for the project.
  • Monitor digital handover to completion and participate in industry events for BIM developments.
  • Produce information requirements (OIR, AIR, PIR, EIR) as per ISO 19650.
  • Develop information standards, methods, procedures, and shared resources.
  • Manage job requisitions to recruit new talent for the BIM team.
  • Research compliance with new regulations and governance.
  • Oversee object library development aligned with the BIM strategy.
  • Ensure the production and assurance of the information model (Pre-RIBA Stage 3).
  • Review Autodesk construction cloud account management and stay updated on Autodesk developments.
  • Research and implement new technology solutions to enhance the BIM process.
  • Support construction sequencing strategy with information models.
  • Assist the cost team in preparing cost plans from information models.
  • Provide training on databases, data analysis, template creation, assurance, and COBie production.
  • Upskill the client team, project managers, and design team through BIM knowledge sharing sessions.
  • Collaborate on procedural elements and compliance with Mace standards.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement plans and key business improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage and influence key/senior stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively towards achieving net zero carbon transition, identifying and managing associated carbon emissions and reductions during project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant work experience on high-value projects/programmes for a project management consultancy.
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
