About the Job
The role of Security Engineering Design Review Manager is crucial for building and nurturing a future-oriented Internal Security organization within NEOM. This position will embody the core value of NEOM as 'An Accelerator of Human Progress' and aims to enhance the region's standing as the safest and most secure place to live and work. The primary responsibility will be to act as the liaison between the Security Department and master plan developers, ensuring security requirements are seamlessly incorporated into all plans. The role involves conducting engineering analyses, performing design reviews, and making decisions on behalf of the Security Department.
The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills, a comprehensive understanding of various technologies, diplomacy, and an appreciation for cultural diversity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise all activities related to the Security scope within NEOM's engineering regional developments and ensure compliance with Public Safety standards.
  • Collaborate with a team of engineering consultants and designers to optimize security engineering designs by integrating technologies.
  • Conduct requirements-driven analyses across Public Safety proponents to foster effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee engineering activities, leveraging experience in inspection, design, construction, and compliance.
  • Engage with management and senior personnel to evaluate critical design trade-offs.
  • Coordinate and resolve any issues in collaboration with the project supervision team.
  • Apply accepted principles, codes, and standards to resolve specialty-related engineering challenges.
  • Facilitate communication with subject matter experts to deliver defined work packages that support Public Safety technology and integration.
  • Review project documentation to ensure compliance with NEOM’s requirements and objectives.
  • Prepare progress reports, monitor project controls, and consult with relevant authorities and stakeholders as necessary.
  • Organize and prepare presentation documentation for compliance reviews that accurately represent project status.

Background, Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Security-related directives, standards (HCIS, ASIS, ISO), and a solid track record in engineering and construction for security projects.
  • Experience managing multiple vendors and subcontractors in consultancy and operations.
  • Familiarity with international codes, standards, and procedures.
  • Preferred qualifications include ASIS PSP and CPP certification and other relevant security certifications.
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, or computer engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in engineering design and construction.
