Overview
Position: Solution Architect
Job Code: Reports to Head of Solutions Architecture

Role Purpose
Collaborate closely with other internal areas to thoroughly understand the specific requirements objectives, and constraints for the design of cognitive solutions. Design the cognitive solutions, including the overall architecture components, data flow, interfaces, shaping their technical foundation. Design the integration points and strategies to ensure that cognitive solutions can seamlessly interface with existing solutions and platforms. Ensure that the designed solutions adhere to best practices and established architectural guidelines and standards. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of designed cognitive solutions, architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation guidelines. Conduct feasibility assessments for innovation initiatives that generate the delivery of new cognitive solutions.
Key Accountabilities & Activities
Solution Architecture Design
Collaborate with internal areas to understand business requirements and objectives gathered from THE LINE Stakeholders. Design end-to-end solutions that align with business requirements, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance. Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and frameworks to build the solution, leveraging modern technologies and best practices within the industry. Reinforce the use of reference architectures and the reuse of existing functionalities and modules. Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, such as solution blueprints, architecture roadmaps, and solution design documents. Engage in solution architecture-related discussions and forums.
Technology Expertise
Continually research the current and emerging technologies for solution architectures. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements in the sector. Provide technical guidance and recommendations to internal teams, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and principles.
Architecture Feasibility Assessment
Collaborate with internal D&CS Team areas to gather and understand the details of innovation initiatives for the development of new cognitive solutions. Conduct feasibility assessments to identify the architecture feasibility of innovation initiatives, by assessing factors such as technology stack compatibility and integration with other solutions and platforms. Assist in making informed decisions about whether to proceed with the development of the proposed solution.
