Oracle Customer Success Services is dedicated to ensuring customer success through a comprehensive range of services and solutions supported by certified and experienced implementers, accelerating the entire customer journey. The CSS Global SaaS & Apps Delivery team is tasked with providing technical services for all customer applications and software hosted in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), on-premises, or in hybrid environments. This role focuses on driving the adoption of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure by showcasing the capabilities of Oracle’s cloud technology alongside value-added engineering solutions, ensuring a differentiated service experience for our customers.
We are seeking an IT engineer who is passionate about edge technologies and finds fulfillment in influencing customer experiences through managed cloud services.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Siebel Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Siebel CRM applications that address the business needs of the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, system administrators, and quality assurance testers, to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of the CRM system. Your role involves:
- Direct interaction with customers on new implementations, migration, and maintenance projects.
- Collaborating with globally distributed teams across technology domains.
- Handling critical issues and escalations while ensuring utmost customer satisfaction.
- Flexibility to work across multiple technologies and commitment to continuous upskilling through Oracle's learning program.
What You Bring
- Over 15 years of industry experience in Oracle Siebel, including WebLogic and database administration.
- Strong leadership and customer management skills as a Siebel Architect.
- Experience with pre-sales opportunities to develop the Siebel business.
- Proficiency in application installation, upgrades, migration, and patching, with at least four upgrade/migration projects on the latest Siebel versions.
- Familiarity with Unix or Linux platforms and Windows.
- Experience in production support environments and the flexibility to work in a rotating shift model in a 24x7 roster.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps skills, including Python, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Cloud administration experience in OCI or other clouds like Azure and AWS.
- Current certifications in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle Siebel technologies.
- Availability to work on a standby basis (24x7) or during scheduled out-of-hours operations.
