Android Developer

Synechron is seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team. As a global consulting firm, we focus on leveraging digital transformation to improve businesses. With a presence in 20 countries and a workforce of over 15,700, we deliver innovative solutions in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Cloud, DevOps, and Software Engineering.

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time
Experience Required: 5 to 7 Years; Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-performance Android applications.
• Collaborate with teams to design clean and maintainable code.
• Follow best coding, security, unit testing, and documentation standards.
• Contribute to the entire lifecycle of Android applications, from development to deployment on the Google Play Store.
• Engage in Agile methodology and ensure the quality and effectiveness of technical designs.

Technical Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Android development, particularly in creating Enterprise Mobile Applications.
• Proficient in Kotlin and familiar with the latest updates in the language.
• Understanding of Android SDK, architecture components, multi-threading, and API design.
• Experience with CI/CD principles and tools like GitHub.
• Knowledge of MVVM, Clean Architecture, and functional programming.
• Familiarity with Firebase and coding best practices.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving abilities with a good grasp of algorithms and data structures.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with senior management and colleagues.
• Self-motivated and capable of driving projects independently.
