The institute's Cryptography Research Center (CRC) is dedicated to enhancing both theoretical and applied cryptography to strengthen the digital security landscape.
As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our journey of building and commercializing proprietary post-quantum protocols and applications aimed at securing enterprise digital spaces. Your position will involve leveraging your extensive experience in DevSecOps to construct and secure Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines by integrating security practices seamlessly into DevOps processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain secure infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Enhance security and efficiency utilizing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Automate security testing and vulnerability scanning using advanced knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Provide technical guidance to ensure best practices and adherence to security standards throughout the development lifecycle.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of DevOps principles, integrating security into all stages of development.
- Utilize scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and security tools (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, SIEM) to proactively identify and mitigate potential security threats.
Requirements
- Proven experience in DevSecOps roles with a strong track record of building and securing CI/CD pipelines.
- Extensive knowledge of DevOps principles, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Proficiency in configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with security tools (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, vulnerability scanners, SIEM) and programming languages (C/C++, C#, Swift, GoLang, Python) is a plus.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
